A Year-long Innovation Odyssey in AI Qutuhal, the flagship innovation platform of Global Schools Group, takes a big leap forward this year with the launch of Qutuhal Prime at Global Indian International School (GIIS) Abu Dhabi – the host school of Qutuhal Season 7. About Qutuhal Prime This new year-long programme is designed to help students across all grades pick up future-ready skills and understand how AI can be applied in everyday life. In line with the UAE’s Year of Community, Qutuhal Prime encourages students to come together to explore real-world challenges, think creatively, and work on ideas that connect with their communities. With the theme “AI for All – Connecting Communities,” students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 will have the chance to explore how technology can solve problems that matter — making AI something every learner can understand and use. Programme Overview Target Group: All GIIS Abu Dhabi students (Grades 1–12) Programme Duration: May 2025 – February 2026 Theme: AI for All – Connecting Communities Structure: One AI-based challenge every month, tailored for different grade bands but unified by a common theme Recognition: Monthly achievers, top performers, and outstanding community impact projects will be awarded Qutuhal Prime Challenges Starting from May 2025 to November 2025, with a Grand Finale in January 2026, each month a unique AI challenge will be released to all participants. Check Results Every challenge will encourage students to: Understand a real-world problem affecting communities Apply age-appropriate AI tools and thinking models Ideate, design, and present a prototype or solution Reflect on its potential community impact Qutuhal Prime’s Monthly Challenge Cycle Each month follows a structured flow to maximise learning and engagement: Launch of monthly theme & briefing Session Skill-building sessions Challenge development time (2–3 weeks) Submission & presentation Evaluation & recognition ceremony Awards & Recognition All participants will receive monthly certificates as a token of appreciation and encouragement for their consistent involvement. In addition, there will be recognition for the top three performers in each grade band, celebrating outstanding achievements and motivating continued excellence among students. Participants with exceptional contributions will be selected for the Annual Grand Showcase featuring the best community-impact projects, providing a platform to highlight meaningful work. They will also gain access to opportunities for mentorship, exhibition, and publication, supporting their growth and wider recognition.
