The year is already abuzz with activity at the Global Schools Group, with a series of events designed to enhance our students’ future.
Leading from the Front
January saw the hosting of the Global Annual Leadership Summit, where leaders from across the GSG network were present to ideate and bring forth solutions for a future-ready way forward. The summit was themed around leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve education practices, bring efficiency and increase productivity while enabling personalisation.
To put things in perspective, we invited a number of specialists and subject matter experts to shed light on how AI could enhance teachers’ roles, improve curricula, transform communication, enable inclusivity, provide crucial insights and even enhance overall performances. These topics were then discussed to come up with workable solutions to further enrich the education experience provided at GSG.
And the year ahead looks very promising with some cutting-edge solutions underway.
Recognition from the President of India
We are proud to inform you that Mr Atul Temurnikar, Chairman and Co-founder of Global Schools Foundation (GSF) was conferred with the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) 2025 by the President of India in a momentous recognition of his lifelong dedication to education and the Indian diaspora. The ceremony was held on January 9 at the capital of India’s eastern state of Odisha.
The Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) is a prestigious honour given to non-resident Indians (NRIs) and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional contributions to their fields of expertise. Mr Temurnikar is only the 5th person from Singapore to receive the prestigious PBSA, awarded by the Government of India since 2003.
